The Village Project

@ The Kenney Collective Inc

It takes a Village. Let’s build It.

You don’t have to do this alone

Pregnancy and new parenthood can bring big feelings alongside the joy: exhaustion, grief, overwhelm, or a birth that didn’t go the way you hoped. None of that means something is wrong with you. It means you deserve support.

Nearly 1 in 5 mothers experience a perinatal mood or anxiety disorder, yet many are left to sort through insurance, waitlists, fragmented care on their own. The Village Project helps you find your way. We connect you with care that fits your needs and your budget, whether it is covered by your insurance, low-cost, or free. Our support is always free to you.

The Village Project is a Massachusetts-based 501(c)(3) non-profit initiative of The Kenney Collective, supporting the mental health and well-being of mothers during pregnancy, postpartum, and parenthood with timely support, connection, and advocacy.

What We Offer:

A Village Visit is a caring, confidential conversation with someone trained to listen — no appointment scramble, no judgment.

Support groups where you can connect with other parents who understand exactly what you're going through.

Resources and help finding a therapist or counselor who takes your insurance and fits your needs — we do the searching, not you.

Connections to lactation consultants, sleep support, postpartum doulas, night nursing, household help, and childcare.

Extra support if you've had a difficult birth, a NICU stay, pregnancy or infant loss, infertility, or you're parenting a baby with medical complications.
